I think the one with the best exposure is the second one (over exposed) because  there’s more light in her face and it makes the picture look more alive.

In RAW I feel like there’s a lot more details, the JGEP is softer.

According to the histogram, where do most of the pixels in your high key image fall (left or right on the histogram)

On the right.

Are there any pixels in the high key image that would not print with detail?

No I think that if I print it everything will be alright.

Variety of tones

Screen Shot 2017-03-08 at 09.45.37.png

According to the histogram, where do most of the pixels in your varied tones image fall (left or right on the histogram)

All the “action” is mostly in the middle.

Are there any pixels in the varied tones image that would not print with detail?

No.

Lowkey scene

0465 - 20170308Screen Shot 2017-03-08 at 09.37.59.png

According to the histogram, where do most of the pixels in your low-key image fall (left or right on the histogram)

On the left

Are there any pixels in the high key image that would not print with detail?

once again no, if I print it all I would have all the details.

considering the information on the histogram, do you feel your camera is properly exposing the high key and low-key scenes? Explain your answer

Yes, I feel like my camera is doing an OK job my picture, I think, are not under or over exposed.

Which histogram shows the most dynamic range?

The one for the variety of tones shows the most dynamic range.

The in-camera noise reduction can be helpful in certain situation I guess but for this I don’t think it’s helping. We can still see a lot of noise when we go to the ISO3200 it didn’t do much except maybe blur a little bit the image which I don’t think is a good thing.

Fluorescent

In the 3 pictures we can see a difference in the colours. The AWB is more of a neutral colour, the Shade one gives a yellow- ish colour and the Fuorescent  is more of a purple colours.

I used the fluorescent, because I liked the blue/purple vibe it gives to the picture. If it was on AWB It would be really boring. I also wanted a “cold” look to it thats why I picked the fluorescent WB.

Moving object/person

This assignment was really different in a bad and good way. I say bad because it’s actually hard to make to pictures ” fit” together. I had to put some in black in white to give the same ”vibe” and get the effect I wanted.

For me the most difficult one was the landscape due to the horrible weather this time  of the years and the night photography because once again the weather isn’t the best. Over all is was a good assignment.

The only thing that kind of bothered me was that we didn’t have a lot of freedom, I think with more freedom I could’ve came up with better picture and be more creative with it.

For both the still life and the image with people , we can see that the thing/person  that’s on the background looks closer when we zoom in.

The more we go down the more blurry the lines get, they kind of mix together. They end up being grey squares.
